800 Years missing, the interpretation of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani found in Vatican City
The discovery of the works of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani by grandson to his own 25-Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Fadil, make the world academic and practitioner of Sufism/Marvel. How does? This paper over the past 800 years disappears and recently found intact at the Vatican. The manuscript contains 30 Juz this full well stored in the library.
Nobody would have thought earlier that Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Gilani wrote the book of tafsir Al-Quran 30 juz who viewed the verses of the Koran. We as if studying the ocean of Sufism from verse to verse. And, thank God, Tafsir Al-Jailani, who has been published in Arabic by the Markaz Al-Gilani Turkey (6 volumes), has now been successfully translated into the language of Indonesia/Malay into 12 volumes. To this day, Markaz Gilani Southeast Asia recently scored the first 2 vols.
The salik who was in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand and Singapore Malay-speaking can learn the meanings of the essential mysticism taught by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani.
We are very grateful with the struggle of the research and investigation conducted by Shaykh Dr. Mohammed Fadhil in saving this rare manuscripts. Especially with regard to the interpretation of Al-Jailani. We were thrilled when listening to direct story of assessment and research for decades.
Here is the word that Sheik Fadhil in the opening book of Tafsir Al-Jailani that ditelitinya:
"I grew up under the education my grandfather Sayyid al-Sharif al-Alim Muqtada bih wa al-Qutb al-Kamil al-Sheikh Abu-bakr Muhammad Jalilaniy al-Hasaniy. My dad named Sharif al-Sayyid Alim al-Allaamah wa al-Bahr al-Shaykh Muhammad Faiq Fahhamah Jailaniy al-Hasaniy.
After I came to Madinah Munawwarah and lived in the city, I began to search for books of Shaykh ' Abd al-Qadir al-Jailaniy Radi ' Anhu in 1977 M in Medina al-Munawwarah and other cities until 2002 M.
After that year, I spent all of my time to find the books of the Shaykh Radi ' Anhu, and to this day I still continue the search.
I have went to about fifty State Library and dozens of private libraries in more than 20 countries. There are even some countries I went to more than twenty times.
From the long process that I accumulated seventeen book and six treatises, one of which is the book of tafsir this which in my opinion, there is no comparison in the world.
From my trip came to a few centres of science, I know that there are fourteen books of works of Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jailaniy which is considered extinct. Therefore, I am constantly searching the Scriptures in various international library after this completed tafsir book printed and published, Insha Allah.
Really I am very festive and grateful to God Almighty, when I found out that the number of sheets of writing paper my grandfather ' Abd al-Qadir al-Jailaniy radhiyallâhu ' anhu that successfully I collect reached 9,752 sheet. That amount does not include the writings which we will publish at the moment and some of the titles are missing. Of course, all of this makes me very happy and proud of my granddaddy immeasurably Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jailaniy-Zubair.
There is an amazing experience that I experienced when I go to the land of the Vatican to look for works by the Shaykh celebrated in the Vatican Library. When I entered the Vatican City State, the immigration officer asked me about the reason I visited the Vatican Library.
The question was answered by a friend who was accompanying Italy origin me by saying that I'm looking for books by my grandfather ' Abd al-Qadir al-Jailaniy. I was surprised when all of a sudden, the officer was directly standing and berhormat saying: "Yes, Yes, The Filsof Islam, Abdul Qadir al-Jailaniy."
After I entered the Vatican Library, I found in the library catalogue and some books that were there a writing in the language of Italy which reads: "the philosopher of Islam", and in Arabic: "Shaykh al-Islâm wa al-Muslimîn".
Two of these titles I never find in all libraries existing in three continents except only here. In the Vatican Library I also found an inscription of Shaykh ' Abd al-Qadir al-Jailaniy which reads: "The Shaykh Radi ' Anhu discusses thirteen kinds of science."
This story could be an inspiration for all of us. How is it possible, monumental works of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani thus stored neatly in the library in the Vatican? Wherever our historians? Why work as powerful as it was "missing" for centuries? Lest all this more eloquently Catholics studied the works of Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gilani than we do that every month join the Manaqib Shaykh Abdul Qadir?
