About BIKMA
BIKMA (Information and Communication Bureau for Students and Public Relations) of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan (UYP) is one of the strategic units at UYP that plays a vital role in developing information systems and building communication with various stakeholders. BIKMA serves as the university’s front line in delivering public information services to both internal and external audiences.
With the vision of becoming a provider and facilitator of information for the internal and external public of UYP, BIKMA has designed and implemented various work programs to support accuracy and progress in information dissemination.
As a higher education institution, Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan must remain competitive and attractive to the community despite its advantages and limitations. BIKMA consistently seeks innovations to shape a positive image and reputation for the university. The existence of BIKMA is essential for both commercial (business) and non-commercial (non-profit) organizations. BIKMA’s daily activities involve conducting two-way communication between the organization and its publics, aiming to foster mutual understanding and support for institutional advancement and a positive public image.
BIKMA UYP, as an integral part of the higher education framework, is responsible for providing reports and explanations to the broader public. Its initiatives include press releases, information services for the UYP academic community, media coverage of campus activities shared through the official website (www.yudharta.ac.id), publication of student organization handbooks and new student admission guides, as well as soft and hard skill training for high school institutions to promote UYP’s potential—among other programs—all in support of achieving the university’s vision, mission, and goals.
